Copenhagen - Oh the irony

Earlier today I posted a press release to i On Global Trends. It came from one of the NGOs that had been locked out of the Copenhagen talkfest.

The delegate complained that they waited outside for eight hours or longer in 32-degree F temperatures for admission.

Is it just me or is there some sort of irony in a global warming activist complaining about the cold weather!

Reminds me a little of the story about the baby polar bear.

A baby polar bear goes to his dad "What sort of bear am I?"

The dad replies, " A polar bear, just like me and mum."

He's not happy so he goes to his Grandma and asks the same.

She confirms what the dad had said, " You're a polar just like me and granddad and you mother and father."

This doesn't help, so he goes back to his dad: Yes son, of course but why do you keep asking?

"Because I'm bloody freezing!"

Wherever you may be - be safe
